Aldgate Junior Tennis
After another successful year with 14 out of 17 teams making the finals in the 2014/15 season Aldgate are getting prepared for the coming season with a new highly experienced coach joining Mike Newbound to jointly support the players.
Aldgate have gone from strength to strength with new clubrooms in 2013, and a family friendly environment with Tuesday night adult tennis, 5 senior teams, and the annual ‘Gator’ Cup (tennis ‘competition’ for all ages). The club grew to 95 junior members in 2014/15 (a 25% increase from the previous year).
Tony Rehn who has 15 years of junior coaching experience coaching in Adelaide and Germany (in our winter months), has coached with family connections to Steffi Graf and Sam Stosur! Tony will be joining Mike Newbound who has extensive coaching experience over many years and has helped guide Aldgate to recent successes.
Junior registrations are now open and available to be submitted on-line HERE and Grading Day is to be held at the club 9-11am on 30th August.
