Tennis Australia have released a new iPhone/iPad app intended “to assist players and coaches with technique development”.
This app is free to download from the App Store HERE

Currently we have no word when the app will be released for other major platforms such as windows tablets/phones or android devices.
So we start a whole new season of Tennis.
We have some existing members playing this year and a stack of new players.
Last year was very successful for the Club and with new club rooms we can only hope to improve on our previous results.
I would extend a warm welcome to all of our new players and for the Juniors their Taxi Drivers.
Aldgate Tennis Club has a long tradition and often I meet parents of adults who remember when they and also their children played at the club.
Throughout the season there will be some opportunities to socialise, and we will keep you informed of such events as the Gator Cup (formerly The Hopman Cup) which is a fun event for parents and Junior Players.
We start the season in October and I wish all of the competitors the best and encourage all players to live up to the standard set by past players both on and off court.
Coaching will be provided for Juniors and we thank Mike and Will for their continued involvement in the Club’s progress.
The success of all clubs is dependent on its members so if you can assist with any of the rosters please feel free to volunteer.

Welcome to the Aldgate Tennis Club and we would like to advise you that the nets are up, tennis season is on its way….Yeah! If you would like to have a hit at the Aldgate Courts you can access the courts at no cost. Please contact the Club for more information.
Once junior team grading is finalised (most likely next week) teams will be advised of their team, coach and training time. Team training will start the first week back after the school holidays, there may be limited courts available for ‘hit ups’ during team training times once team training commences after the school holidays.
